An Extract From
Taken from an Address given by the Christ messenger Zodiac through the deep trance mediumship of Miss Winifred Moyes,
at The War Memorial Hall, Tiverton, Devon, on Sunday, May l0th, 1948.
..."So to those who have made up their minds to come out of the rut and to make for the highway where spiritual opportunities lie on either side, to one and all I say: Be not disheartened over the tests that you must meet. That is a sign that you are on the right path, it is a sign that you are achieving something of your object, it is a sign that you are trying to take your place with those of old who suffered so much to bring Light to this darkened plane.
"Where would you be to-day without the saints and martyrs? How oft have I to remind those in the flesh that they would be as barbarians, lower than the beasts of the field? But because the few were willing to make the full surrender, you to-day know something of spiritual truth. You have seen the sweetness of sacrifice, have tasted of the cup of service, and although you realise it means suffering and perchance loss of so-called friends, yet willingly and with determination you are going on to journey's end; and the yet unborn will thank you in their time as you are thanking the saints and martyrs of another age.
"What does the Spirit World mean to you? Does it mean merely taking the messages of comfort and condolence from your loved ones who have gone on before? Have you the courage to accept discipline and warning from them? Are you in that mood when you will give complete obedience when they are trying to protect you?
"You see, beloved, all these things have to be answered individually. But if you say you are trying to give the proper condition so that you can be used as an instrument by those unseen, then the time will come when many will bless your name."...
