An Extract From
Taken from an Address given by the Christ messenger Zodiac through the deep trance mediumship of Miss Winifred Moyes,
at the Town Hall, Congleton, Cheshire, on Sunday, March 4th, 1945.
"...You see, beloved, we come down to fundamentals, come to the great equality of Divine Law, come to something that cannot be altered by anything that man wills, for God's Law is immovable. God's Law is man's protection; and also, when man refuses to accept it, man's retribution as well. So I say to you who have struggled over pain and poverty and worry over your own, you who are growing old and are weary of a changing life, be of good cheer, all is wonderfully well, and physical death will have brought your right to possessions in the World of Spirit.
"Think for a moment or two! If the real self could choose, what would be your possessions when the end of physical life and its misunderstandings are no more? What would you choose? First of all you would choose real love, and then perchance a strong body, and then the capacity to work. Remember ever that the toil we do on the physical plane is merely as a training. When you are out of the physical body your rate of vibration will be enhanced a hundredfold, and as you evolve so the rate will increase, and your energies will increase in equal measure.
"So then, beloved, when you are free from the flesh you will be seized with a mighty vitality. There seems to pour through your mind great and grand ideas, and the deepest sorrow that can come to disembodied souls is to have great ideas and the will to DO, and yet, because in the past the ones concerned forgot to build up character, they cannot create, they cannot work, they have no tools; and although others would lend them their own tools, the skill is not there.
"But I have for you all a message of good cheer: for the old and the sick, the weak and the young, a great provision has been made by God. Only do what you can to the best of your ability and send out your thoughts to give strength unto others. Then when this short stage is o'er, free from the impediments, free from restrictions, free from all the pain, you will step into real Life. Gladness will fill your being, for God is the Giver of all good things, and He has held fast those possessions you never had during the physical state, and presents them unto you in a glorified form when you are one step nearer to your Father's Home.
"For many gathered here the transition shall represent the entering into a miniature Paradise. They have done their duty, they have tried to help others, they have prayed for the sick and they have tended the young, and indeed the blessing of the Most High rests upon them. Their end is not only peace, but life in such an enhanced form that the sorrows of the earth plane seem unto them but as a passing dream, for they have awakened in the sunshine of the Spirit to find around them - and within them - the capacity to work out their heart's and their spirit's desire..."
